Update for 4/1/09

April 1, 2009

New review for You Don’t Get There From Here Goes To Oaxaca by Carrie McNinch, and please go elsewhere for any sort of April Fool’s Day hilarity.  Wackiness abounds out there in the internets if that’s your thing…

Update for 3/30/09

March 30, 2009

New review for Mystery Theater Episode 1: The Human Brain by Julia Wertz.  Reviews tomorrow may or may not be preemtped by my going to a hockey game.  Not sure about ticket availability just yet…

Update for 3/29/09

March 29, 2009

New review for Slither #5 by Kelly Froh, also available in the online store and, sadly, the last of the Kelly Froh books I had left to review.  Maybe there are more out there for me to read and ramble about?  I can only hope…

Update for 3/28/09

March 28, 2009

New review for Jesse Moynihan’s The Backwards Folding Mirror #2, and for those of you who are curious, yes, I am still keeping track of the days I miss posting a review, and yes, I am still hoping to finish the year with a grand total of one review for every day.  I’m averaging about two missed days a month, which is better than I thought it would be going when I first had this ridiculous idea…

Update for 3/27/09

March 27, 2009

Sorry about the lack of review yesterday, my actual life does prevent me from doing this on occasion.  Rarely, I know, but it does happen.  New review today for an untitled comic by somebody who is almost certainly not named B. Calla.  What can I say, it’s all I had to work with from the comic…

Update for 3/25/09

March 25, 2009

New review for Comic Strip ’til Nude by Ed Moorman, one of those Various Minnesotans you may have heard about wandering around this website…

Update for 3/24/09

March 24, 2009

New review for Sad Animals by Adam Meuse…

Update for 3/23/09

March 23, 2009

New review for Veggie Dog Saturn #1 by Jason Young, and to anybody who wants their book reviewed, SPACE is on April 18th and 19th, at which point I should be able to pick up a pile of stuff to review.  I have around a dozen comics left from my trip to Chicago.  Doing the math on that… I need your comics!

Update for 3/22/09

March 22, 2009

New review for Es Brillig War by Tom Motley, also available in the online store along with the rest of the Motley pile o’ comics.

Update for 3/19/09

March 19, 2009

New review for Black Ghost Apple Factory by Jeremy Tinder, one of the many excellent books I missed completely over the years somehow, just in case anybody had the wrong impression that I was some sort of expert about comics or anything…

Update for 3/18/09

March 18, 2009

New review for What I Did On My 2008 Summer Vacation by J. Brendan Williams, and it’s much too nice out for me to write any more than that.

New review for Lovely Ugly Cruel World #8 by Amanda Rehagen, and happy day of St. Patrick to everybody!

Update for 3/16/09

New review for Calloway June by Joey Jacks..

Update for 3/15/09

March 15, 2009

New review for Crass Sophisticate #21 by Josh Reinwald & Justin Rosenberg, and I think this makes 7 days in a row with completely new people on the website.  OK, I’m probably the only person who cares about these things, but it makes me happy.

Update for 3/14/09

March 14, 2009

New review for The Magic Fishing Hook by Katrina Zimmerman.  I’ve noticed that most of the books I’m reviewing from Quimby’s are from 2004-2005.  Did I miss the memo that most people stopped making mini comics around then?

Update for 3/13/09

March 13, 2009

New review for Old Timey Gunslinger Tales #2 by someone who is almost certainly not named Abe Comis.

Update for 3/12/09

March 12, 2009

New review for Loaf by Todd J. Miller, and in case I haven’t mentioned it yet, any comics I get through the mail will always be reviewed here before anything I buy at a store.  That and this comics pile, while hefty, is also finite, what with my continuing to review stuff every day and all…

Update for 3/11/09

March 11, 2009

New review for Tender Morsels of Mischief #1 by S. Millionz…
