Update for 2/7/14

February 7, 2014

Yeah, the week got away from me again, sorry about that. What can I say, this crappy weather takes everything right out of me. New review for Lost Kisses #25 by Brian John Mitchell, and if you’d like me to review your comics, feel free to send them my way, as the review pile is getting a little thin. Happy weekend everybody!

Update for 2/3/14

February 3, 2014

New review today for QU33R, an anthology edited by Rob Kirby. And considering the fact that February is generally a miserable and snowy month too, it’s a good brick of a book  to read while hiding from the elements.

Update for 1/30/14

January 30, 2014

New review for The Casebook of Elijah Snugs #3 by Sal Sciandra. Hooray for temperatures almost above freezing!

Update for 1/29/14

January 29, 2014

New review for Dump #2 by David Robertson and a few comics artists. David draws the longer stories, in case you were curious.

Update for 1/28/14

January 28, 2014

New review today for Monday Saddies #2 by Steve Seck. Another comic that was sadly misplaced for a few months, and another sign that I need to get this pile o’ comics organized one of these days. Which I think can happen if I wish it hard enough…

Update for 1/24/14

January 24, 2014

Late update before another miserably snowy weekend around here for Pang The Wandering Shaolin Monk Volume 2: Winter Worm, Summer Grass. Huzzah for a weekend of not leaving the house!

Update for 1/23/14

January 23, 2014

This week has clearly gotten away from me a bit, so here are two new reviews for Star Pilot #10 by Frank Swartz and Walrus by Brian John Mitchell & Jared Catherine. More tomorrow probably!

Update for 1/17/14

January 17, 2014

New review for Loud Comix #2 by Jamie Vayda and a gaggle of writers. Is a half dozen writers a gaggle? I always get these terms confused. Happy weekend everybody!

Update for 1/16/14

January 16, 2014

New review for an international anthology: RhiZome #1, edited by Rob Jackson & Kyle Baddeley-Read. Expand your horizons, mythical sheltered Americans that I just made up in my head!

Update for 1/14/14

January 14, 2014

New review today for Lucy the Octopus: I’ll Take What I Can Get by Richy Chandler. Have I actually managed to put “14” for the year on top of these updates eery time this year? I’m afraid to go back and look, although it’s not so bad if you’re still doing it in January. If you’re still doing it in May, that’s when it becomes problematic.

Update for 1/13/14

January 13, 2014

New review for Sugar Booger #1 by Kevin Scalzo. Fun for all ages probably!

Update for 1/9/14

January 9, 2014

New review today for Inspiration Point by Spencer Hicks, which actually came out in 2014. Always up to the minute with the latest comics around here, that’s me! Never mind all the times that didn’t happen…

Update for 1/8/14

January 8, 2014

New review for Nextuus: The Hunt for the Raamus Emerald by Thomas Hotka & Trey Petersen. Hey, in the past I’ve offered 100 random small press comics to people for $30 (plus $5 for shipping), in an effort to clean up my general pile of comics and spread the goodies around a bit. Anybody interested? If so let me know. I can do that once or twice, but past that it gets dicey, so whoever asks for it first gets it.

Update for 1/7/14

January 7, 2014

New review for It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time #3: Artists in the Wild by Trevor Waurechen. Normal updates for the rest of the week probably, provided there are no more ice storms. Not that the two have anything to do with each other, it’s more of a mood thing.

Update for 1/3/14

January 3, 2014

New review today for Silent Energy by John Karnes. Happy weekend everybody, and if the weather is anything like it is here I’m recommending lots of quality time indoors with your preferred loves ones/comics/books.

Update for 12/31/13

December 31, 2013

New review for Demon Wheat #2 by Jon Lawrence. Happy New Year everybody, stay safe!

Update for 12/30/13

December 30, 2013

New review today for Loud Comix #1 by Jamie Vayda and a quartet of authors. Yes, this will probably be one more spotty week for reviews, but I’ll see what I can do to at least get a few reviews up this week.

Update for 12/23/13

December 23, 2013

New review today for Vortex #3 by William Cardini. It should be a pretty light week for reviews, so happy holidays everybody!

Update for 12/19/13

December 19, 2013

New review for The Hic & Hoc Illustrated Journal of Humour Volume 2: The United Kingdom. That’s right, an international anthology!

Update for 12/18/13

December 18, 2013

Clearly this period between the holidays is just going to be a bit of a mess for reviews, so my apologies. New review today for On Your Marks #1, a new anthology from a whole bunch of people in Seattle.
