Update for 6/2/10

June 2, 2010

New review for The Natural World #2 by Damien Jay, as I’m trying to get back to some of the series I got recently before getting a pile of comics in the mail/through SPACE.  As far as problems go, it’s not a bad one to have.

Update for 6/1/10

June 1, 2010

New review for Time Warp Comix #8 edited by Dan W. Taylor and containing his usual crew.  It’s also newly available in my online store along with Pork Belly #1 from Dan, as I’m still trying to catch up from all the SPACE stuff.  And yes, work does continue on the comic rental project I keep talking about, but boy is it a longer process than I originally thought.  Happy birthday Kara!

Update for 5/30/10

May 30, 2010

New review today for Champ 2010 #1 by Jed Collins. Hey, maybe I’ll get a review up every day over the holiday weekend after all…

Update for 5/29/10

May 29, 2010

New review for Post-Script by Joe Grunenwald, and I should be able to get another review or two up over the weekend but don’t panic if I vanish completely until Tuesday.

Update for 5/28/10

May 28, 2010

New review for Liberty & Justice #1 (as far as I can tell it’s the first issue) by Ryan Ruffatti and Elizabeth Luntao.  I may or may not have friends coming to visit for the weekend, so I may or may not have regular updates over the holiday weekend.  Hey, if I knew what was going on for sure I’d post it here….

Update for 5/27/10

May 27, 2010

New review for The Sinister Truth: MK Ultra by Jason Ciaccia & Aaron Norhanian.  Happy birthday Harlan Ellison, and shame on you if you don’t know who that is…

Update for 5/26/10

May 26, 2010

New review for Lynchpin #1 by W.B. MacLean, and I have some mid-week boredom setting in.  How about you?

Update for 5/25/10

May 25, 2010

New review for the latest I Know Joe Kimpel anthology: Future.  Curious about who’s in it?  That review has them all listed pretty clearly, I’d recommend starting there.

Update for 5/24/10

May 24, 2010

New review for Power Out by Nathan Schreiber, a Xeric award winner from last year, and yes, that is pretty much a universal symbol of quality.  Um, spoiler alert.

Update for 5/23/10

May 23, 2010

New review for Marked #2 by Brian John Mitchell and Jeremy Johnson, as my stupid idea of a SPACE week wraps up with my only having gotten to about 1/4 of the comics I picked up there, if that.  Look for SPACE week II in the near future, or possibly just integrated into the rest of the comics.

Update for 5/21/10

May 22, 2010

New review for another SPACE comic, this time by A.A. Vrooman, called Candlakare Mardommar: Dental Nightmares.  I might have to extend this SPACE week for a while, as there are way too many comics in this pile to confine it to one week.  Maybe a week of regular stuff and then back to a week of this?  Maybe just work them into the regular reviews?  What exactly makes these anything other than regular reviews?  There’s your peek into my brain for the week.

Update for 5/21/10

May 21, 2010

New review for Turtleneck Boy #6 edited by Suzanne Baumann and containing a few other folks.  More SPACE stuff to come this weekend, then it’s back to “normal” next week.

Update for 5/20/10

May 20, 2010

New reviews today for Clyde the Redneck #1 by Stephen Hines and Teen Angst Comix #3 by Mark Sahagian, as I actually remembered that I promised a makeup review this week.  Huzzah for me!

Update for 5/19/10

May 19, 2010

New review for The Secret History of the Ineffables #2 by Craig Bogart, as SPACE is my yearly time to catch up on any Ineffables action I may have missed.

Update for 5/18/10

May 18, 2010

New review for The Death and Damnation of Pretty Jeff by Jeff Gibbons as SPACE week rolls on, if by “rolls on” you mean “is reviewed once or maybe twice a day by some guy with a website about small press comics”.

Update for 5/17/10

May 17, 2010

SPACE week!  New review for Timmothy’s Halloween Special by Kris Lachowski, as I’m starting off with a little one and working my way up.

Update for 5/16/10

May 16, 2010

New review for Xoc #2 by Matt Dembicki, and I’ll make up for that missed review yesterday some time in the week.  SPACE week, that is, which is all next week unless I run out of SPACE comics, which I very much doubt.

Update for 5/14/10

May 14, 2010

New review for Chickenbot’s Odd Jobs #1 by Eric H., not to be confused with Odd Jobs #1 by Eric H.  Well, I suppose they should be confused, as Odd Jobs #1 was the first half of Chickenbot’s Odd Jobs #1.  Totally different comics though, except for that small fact.

Update for 5/13/10

May 13, 2010

New review for Gold and Black and Gray (all one title) by Gloria Farmer.

Update for 5/12/10

May 12, 2010

New review for Norman: Tales From Amazon #1 by Kelly Froh.  How’s your week going?
