New review today for California #3 by Rob Jackson. This week cannot end soon enough, and it’s the next one that’s supposed to be crappy. Oh well…
Update for 6/19/13
June 19, 2013New review today for Unknown Origins & Untimely Ends edited by Emi Gennis and featuring all sorts of folks that you already know and love.
Update for 6/17/13
June 17, 2013New review for My Senior Year by Sarah Friedman. If all goes well I should actually be able to have a regular week of reviews this week, then next week should be a mess (I’m moving out of my current place at the end of the month), then the week after that may or may not be normal, depending on how reliable Time Warner is in getting the internet set up. But hey, quit mailing me review comics for the time being, if you please. I’ll post my new address up here soon and as of July 1st, fire away.
Update for 6/14/13
June 14, 2013New review today for Blammo #8 by Noah Van Sciver, because there’s always time for Blammo. Happy weekend everybody!
Update for 6/10/13
June 10, 2013New reviews today for Uncles #1 by Desmond Reed and Scorched Earth #1 by Tom Van Deusen. It’ll probably be another spotty week around here for reviews unless I manage to find a new place to live tomorrow, in which case… eh, that mind up spotty too. Expect spottiness for the remainder of June and be pleasantly surprised if that’s not the case, how about that?
Update for 6/5/13
June 5, 2013I found the time for two reviews today: Morbid Dork #2 by Alex Nall and Tall Tales for Short Kittens #2 by Jason Payne. Maybe I’ll have time for more this week? Eh, probably.
“Update” for 6/3/13
June 3, 2013Sorry, no actual update today and it’ll probably be pretty spotty until I find a new place to live for next month. Hey, speaking of that, any chance anybody in the Columbus area knows of an apartment or relatively affordable house that’s opening up at the end of the month? No? Nah, didn’t think so…
Update for 5/30/13
May 30, 2013New review for Madtown High #2 by Whit Taylor, but you already knew that.
Update for 5/29/13
May 29, 2013New review today for With Only Five Plums: The Time Before by Terry Eisele & Jonathon Riddle. All you people watch Arrested Development, right? It seems to be getting some backlash and I can’t understand why that would be, other than the internet sensation of demanding that a thing happen and then not being satisfied when that thing happens.
Update for 5/28/13
May 28, 2013New review today for Full Sanction: Threats by Joe Mochove & Rusty Rowley. I’m most likely back to single reviews for at least the next week or so, as work is still busy and I’m moving again at the end of June, so if you have a pile of comics you’re looking to send me, feel free to wait until after July 1st.
Update for 5/24/13
May 24, 2013New review today for Adult Babysitting #2 by MarYanna Hoggatt. I may or may not post a review or two over the weekend, but I’ll be honest, it probably won’t happen. Happy weekend everybody!
Update for 5/23/13
May 23, 2013Scrambling a bit this week, so I just had time for one review today (and yesterday combined, clearly): The Bridge by Aaron Delamatre. If tomorrow is still a mess I’ll try to get a review or two up over the long weekend.
Update for 5/21/13
May 21, 2013Just had time for one new review today, for Fruits and Vegetables by Desmond Reed.
Update for 5/20/13
May 20, 2013New reviews today for Unfortunate Mishaps in Aviation History by Emi Gennis and Get Into Comix by Brad Dwyer. Neither of these are comics I got at SPACE, although both of those people should think about attending it one of these years (although it seems like Brad did at one point).
Update for 5/17/13
May 17, 2013New reviews today for Piece Goods by Joe Kuth and From Beam to Buck by Chris Monday. People who have been sending me comics in the mail and wondering what the holdup is, next week I’ll start getting to those! While also mixing in SPACE comics, as that pile is endless. Oh, the woes of having too many comics!
Update for 5/16/13
May 16, 2013New reviews today for Champ 2010 by Jed Collins and Tales From the Interstate #1: 20th Anniversary Edition by Pam Bliss. How’s your week going?
Update for 5/15/13
May 15, 2013New reviews today for Blindspot #2 by Joseph Remnant and Black Rose #1 by Christopher Arndt, Aaron Minier & Brandon Peat. I’ve asked this a thousand times, but just in case anybody out there is reading this who designs/upgrades/maintains on life support websites like this one, please feel free to contact me, because if I’m getting sick of the load times on this thing then I can’t imagine anybody reading this is any happier about the situation.
Update for 5/14/13
May 14, 2013Sorry about the long gap there between reviews, work took over for a bit and the website didn’t seem to be working yesterday when I tried (many times) to post reviews. Two new ones today, for Blue Sunday by all kinds of Columbus artists and Xoc: The Journey of a Great White by Matt Dembicki. Regular reviewing should be happening from now on. More SPACE stuff this week, then next week I have to start digging into the stuff that’s been piling up in the mail.
Update for 5/6/13
May 6, 2013New reviews today for The Mayans Were Right by Katherine Wirick and Arubadingle by K. Sekelsky and Saffron B-R. There’s an election in Columbus tomorrow, so reviews may be sporadic this week until that’s all sorted out. Or hey, maybe everything will go completely smoothly and there will be no disruptions at all! But I doubt it. Go vote!
