New review today for Colonel MacTaggart #2 by Steve Steiner. Also I know the text blocks look weird for the reviews, but I don’t know why that is happening, so apparently that’s just the way they look from now on!
Update for 4/7/15
April 7, 2015New review today for Collector by Zane Zlemesa, another one from the mini kus pile o’ comics.
Update for 4/2/15
April 2, 2015New review today for Smallbug Comics #4 by Charles Brubaker. Say, I’m thinking about going far away for a comics convention this year, like maybe London or somewhere in the vicinity. Can anybody from around there recommend a con in particular? Also if anybody would like to buy one of my kidneys to finance the trip that would be grand.
Update for 4/1/15
April 1, 2015New review today for The Unmentionables by Jack Teagle which, you’d have to admit, is a pretty great name for a “superhero” team.
Update for 3/30/15
March 30, 2015New review today for Little Hilma by Jyrki Heikkinen, another addition to the mini kus collection of minis. These international reviews are unstoppable!
Update for 3/27/15
March 27, 2015New review today for Slime by Joseph Luster. Posted after finally getting this keyboard to work again, because it’s always something, am I right? Happy weekend everybody!
Update for 3/25/15
March 25, 2015New review today for Doing the Dishes With Batman by Scott Marshall. And Scott is living in Canada, which more of less keeps up the international theme from last week.
Update for 3/18/15
March 18, 2015New review today for Troubled Teen by Desmond Reed. Yep, sticking with the theme.
Update for 3/17/15
March 17, 2015New review today for The Rule by Tetsuya Yamamoto, as impromptu international comics week continues!
Update for 3/16/15
March 16, 2015New review today for Smoo #8 by Simon Moreton, and judging by the mail it’s looking like this is going to be another international comics week. Hooray, a theme week!
Update for 3/11/15
March 11, 2015New reviews today for Killjoy #3 by Robert Brown and Satan Cat #1 by Steve Steiner. Maybe I’ll even have time for more reviews this week! Sad that more than four in a week is an oddity, but that’s where I seem to be these days…
Update for 3/9/15
March 9, 2015New review today for Night of the Living Vidiots by Andy Ristaino. No sample page on that one because the binding on this graphic novel was too tight for me to use my scanner.
Update for 3/5/15
March 5, 2015New reviews today for Killjoy #2 by Robert Brown and The Littlest Pervert by Desmond Reed. Trying to make up a bit for lost time over here…
Update for 3/3/15
March 3, 2015New review today for Harold by Antoine Cosse. It’s a little embarrassing, but I have found quite a few comics that somehow didn’t get reviewed when I first got them, which I’ll be getting to in the coming weeks. And hey, it’s not too early to start making your plans for SPACE in Columbus. Actually, I just checked the website and they’ve moved the date to July instead of the usual April. So maybe it is too soon to start making plans!
Update for 2/27/15
February 27, 2015New (short) review today for The Escape Plan by Willard Herman. Part of my weekend plan is to dig through the old comic piles to see what I missed reviewing initially, so if you sent me something six months ago and wondered if it would ever see the light of day here, you may be in luck very soon! Either that or it never got to me…
Update for 2/25/15
February 25, 2015Been dealing with a cold this week, which explains the lack of updates (this time). New review today for Killjoy #1 by Robert Brown. And, because there are so few continuing series out there, I’m going to do weekly reviews of this series until I catch up. Which means #2 and #3 in the next two weeks, but hey, that does too count as a continuing series.
Update for 2/18/15
February 18, 2015New review today for When We Were Kids by Andy Warner. Also, should humans be allowed to hibernate through January and February? If not, why not?
Update for 2/17/15
February 17, 2015You know what? My late New Year’s resolution is to stop guessing how many times I’ll be able to post new reviews in a week. It never ends well. It’ll always be at least 2, maybe as many as 7 (but probably not). There! Simple. New review today for Rosie and Jacinda: Demon Cloud by Richy Chandler, Francesca Dare, Inko, Chie Kutsuwada, Zarina Liew and Jade Sarson.
Update for 2/10/15
February 10, 2015New review today for Scumbag by Desmond Reed. See? A regular week of reviews, he said far too early in the week for it to be true yet.
