New review today for The 50 Flip Experiment #26 by Dan Hill! Read the review to see why what I did there was so frightfully transgressive.
Update for 1/13/22
January 13, 2022New review today for The Lighthouse in the City Volume 5 by Karl Christian Krumpholz. Stay inside, y’all! It’s January, so it’s too cold to be doing stuff anyway…
Update for 1/11/22
January 11, 2022New review today for Meeting Comics #10 by Andrew Neal. Everybody back in their covid crouch? Because based on the current numbers, you really should be. Me? Oh, I have a work conference scheduled for this week, with people coming from all over Ohio. Will it be canceled? Postponed? Or do they really not care at all? Stay tuned!
Update for 1/6/22
January 6, 2022It’s time for the weekly Meeting Comics review! This time it’s for #9 (by Andrew Neal, of course). I was thinking about switching to reviewing one of these every two weeks, but the review comics pile is looking a little sparse, so I’ll keep this up. Unless some of you wanted to send some review comics of your own my way so I can change things up…
Update for 1/4/22
January 4, 2022Happy New Year! I wanted to get things off on the right foot, so here’s a review for Go Fuck Myself: The Fuckpendium by Mike Freiheit. He was nice enough to put little hearts over the “u” for both of them, but this keyboard doesn’t have that technology, so feast your delicate eyes on those swears. Feast!
Update for 12/31/21
December 31, 2021It’s the final review of the year, and it’s Booze Ha Ha by David Robertson! Happy happy and all that, I have no resolutions to leave all this behind, so you’re most likely stuck with me for another year. Or not, as you can stop reading this at any time, but that’s on you. Feliz Navidad!
Update for 12/29/21
December 29, 2021New review today for that old weekly favorite, Meeting Comics #8 by Andrew Neal! You know, if I was able to plan ahead even a little bit I’d have the last issue of the series scheduled for the last week of the year, but instead I still have 11 issues left. Ah well…
Update for 12/27/21
December 27, 2021Well, so much for that master plan my of reviewing schedule, huh? Blame a cascade of pot petitions at work. New review for Goiter Comics #6 by Josh Pettinger!
Update for 12/13/21
December 13, 2021New review today for It Ends Badly #1 by Barry Southworth, which should be a familiar name if you’ve been reading this website for a decade or so. Oh, and far as holiday reviews go? Next week I should be able to write at least a couple, ditto for the week after that, but this week is a real mystery. Let’s find out together, shall we?
Update for 2/9/21
December 9, 2021New review today for Lounger by Nick Mullins. Which made me wonder: how annoying would it be to put together a “best of” 2021 list for graphic novels? Seems like a hassle, but hey, maybe it would be fun? Uh, not to give away the tone of this review or anything…
Update for 12/7/21
December 7, 2021New review today for Meeting Comics #7 by Andrew Neal, as the weekly reviews continue. Only 11ish more weeks left to go!
Update for 12/3/21

Update for 12/1/21
December 1, 2021New review today for Meeting Comics #6 by Andrew Neal. Only 14 or so weeks to go for these weekly reviews!
Update for 11/29/21
November 29, 2021Yeah, I took Thanksgiving week off, but I have a good excuse: I was watching Fellini movies instead. New review today for Lemonade Tango by Henry Uhrik!
Update for 11/19/21
November 19, 2021New review today for Ruining Your Cat’s Life by Lauren Barnett, and this concludes the graphic novel sandwich. Happy weekend everybody!
Update for 11/17/21
November 17, 2021New review today for Meeting Comics #5 by Andrew Neal. That’s right, I’m still sticking to the weekly reviews.
Update for 11/15/21
November 15, 2021It’s a graphic novel sandwich of reviews this week! First up is Are Comic Books Real? by Alex Nall.
Update for 11/11/21
November 11, 2021New review today for The Domesticated Afterlife by Scott Finch. What, you never thought about it?
Update for 11/9/21
November 9, 2021Back from my extended working schedule (known around here as a “break” for some reason), so here’s a new review for Meeting Comics #4 by Andrew Neal. What’s this, two reviews in a row for the same person? Yep! Didn’t you see me mention that I’d be doing these weekly for a bit? What’s that? You assumed I would have flaked out by now? Historically, I get it. But not yet!
Update for 10/28/21
October 28, 2021New review for Meeting Comics #3 by Andrew Neal. What, did you think I wouldn’t follow through on the whole weekly reviews of this series idea? Yeah, fair enough, it’s happened before. Speaking of, it’s election time again, so there almost certainly won’t be any reviews next week. The week after that should be back to normal. Don’t forget to vote!
