OK, two new reviews today: Man Man and Friends #2 by Gareth Brookes and Grove of Fireflies #1: North Arrow by Drew Crowley. One more tomorrow should get things caught up and then back to normal next week, assuming all goes well at work…
Update for 2/8/08
February 8, 2008Have I mentioned that there’s a primary coming up soon and, as such, things have been a little nuts at work lately? I’ll post three new reviews over the weekend to make up for lost time, but right now I’m pooped.
Update for 2/6/08
February 6, 2008New review for The Treehouse by Davi Shy, and tomorrow may be tricky (already) for the planned two reviews due to, you know, actual life things, but I’ll do my best.
Update for 2/5/08
February 5, 2008New reviews for Controller by Robin Enrico and XO #3 by Brian John Mitchell and Melissa Spence Gardner. Oh, and the plan for the moment is to do two reviews on Tuesday and Thursday and still one the rest of the time. Subject to change if I find myself suddenly buried in comics or suddenly without comics, but I think that’ll work for the moment.
Update for 2/4/08
February 4, 2008New review for The Novelber Project by Tom McHenry, and I’m thinking about going back to the two reviews a day policy for the immediate future, assuming I can keep myself in comics. Just throwing that out there so somebody can “yell” at me if I don’t mention it again for another month…
Update for 1/31/08
January 31, 2008New review for Happy Ivot #2 by Mike Heavener, and an open question to everybody, especially people who have bought stuff from the store and/or plan on doing so: would it make a difference if I started accepting credit cards? It would take a hefty payment to start it up, but if there’s enough interest I don’t see why not. E-mail me with comments, I’ll try to figure out the consensus.
Update for 1/30/08
January 30, 2008New review for Love #4 by Matt Fagan, and I highly recommend against breathing paint fumes in your cubicle all day.
Update for 1/28/08
January 28, 2008New review for Strings Attached: Amy’s Birthday Party by Ali Solomon. Everybody in Ohio registered to vote yet? The deadline to register for the primary is next Tuesday. Just my public service announcement for the day…
Update for 1/25/08
January 25, 2008New reviews today for Trixie: The Schizophrenic Girl #3 by Michael D’Orazio and Tales From the Flat: The Collected Edition Volume 1 by Laurence Powell & Oliver Lambden. Happy weekend everybody!
Update for 1/24/08
January 24, 2008New review for Last Wish #2 by Adam Berenstain, and I’ll make up for the missed review yesterday tomorrow, as today mostly got away from me too.
Update for 1/22/08
January 22, 2008New stuff for the store! King Cat #67 and 68 from John Porcellino are available as well as the comic reviewed today, The Short Term by Nick Jeffrey.
Update for 1/18/08
January 18, 2008New reviews for Burger Habitrail by Tim Maloney and Zod #6 by Jacob Steingroot. Happy weekend everybody, new things for the store should be up by next week!
Update for 1/17/08
January 17, 2008New reviews for Dolltopia by Abby Denson and Lost Kisses #5 by Brian John Mitchell…
Update for 1/16/08
January 16, 2008Sorry about the website being down the last couple of days, I still have no idea what happened, as e-mails for tech support have so far been unreturned. At least it’s up and working, right? New review for Strange Science Fiction #6 by Matthew McDaniel, two reviews each the next two days to make up for lost time, provided the damned website doesn’t go dark on me again…
Update for 1/11/08
January 11, 2008New review for Vampire Free Style #1 by Jenika Ioffreda, happy weekend everybody!
Update for 1/9/08
January 9, 2008New review for Cactus Stories by Hilary Abuhove, and as seasons only last a week or two anymore, it looks like it’s time for people to start coming up with new names for the new, tiny seasons. Any ideas?
