Sorry, I had no internet for the start of the week and now I’ll be looking for a new apartment for a bit (here’s hoping not too long), so updates are going to be sporadic for a while. Everything should be settled one way or another by the end of the month and I should be able to at least get a few new updates in here and there in the meantime…
Update for 8/15/08
August 15, 2008New review for Mediocralypse by Gareth Brookes and I finally put up some contact info for me, on the right under the empty “Blogroll”. If you click on it you get my e-mail address, if you hover the cursor over it my home address pops up so you can send your comics to me. It’s like magic!
Update for 8/14/08
August 14, 2008New review for You Don’t Get There From Here #5 by Carrie McNinch, right at the bottom of her page, probably after I screwed up the images down there because WordPress is still slightly confusing to me. Anybody out there able to give me any pointers?
Update for 8/12/08
August 12, 2008Weird. I thought I had this new system figured out: when an entry was completely new, the whole thing showed up on the main page, when I was adding something to an old entry, just the name showed up. Well, Crash Comics #6 by Thomas Williams is reviewed today, and his whole massive page is beneath this.  Just scroll past it to see what else has been going on here the last week or so…
Update for 8/9/08
August 9, 2008New review for Jeff Zwirek’s Burning Building #3, something everybody who loves comics should be reading, and something teachers in them there comics colleges should be showing their students. What, did I give away the ending of my review?
Update for 8/8/08
August 8, 2008New review for the Wormdye graphic novel by Eamon Espey, and it almost seems like that date should be significant for some reason…
Update for 8/7/08
August 7, 2008New review for Marvel Zombies by Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips. For those of you who only want to think of me as somebody who reads independent comics exclusively and never enjoys a good mainstream romp, please look away and come back tomorrow…
Update for 8/6/08
August 6, 2008New review for The Ineffables #3 by Craig Bogart (at the bottom of his page), and I plan on getting a few reviews up over the weekend to make up for lost time, as I probably won’t be able to do any extras during the week.
Update for 8/1/08
August 1, 2008New review for Strawman #4 by David Branstetter and I’m leaving town for the weekend, so no updates until at least Tuesday, possibly Wednesday. Don’t panic, I’ll make up for it when I get back…
Update for 7/31/08
July 31, 2008New review for Neil Jam #15 by Neil Fitzpatrick, sadly the last of my Neil Jam pile. And there are still a lot of months to go before I see him at another convention…
Update for 7/29/08
July 29, 2008New review for Neptoons by Tom Motley, another of the books that’s in the online store, which will be up and functioning properly again soon…
Update for 7/28/08
July 28, 2008New review for Bald Knob by John Hankiewicz, and I’m just putting new reviews at the top of the individual artist pages until I figure out how to see the images on my end. Otherwise I’d be deleting them without even knowing…
Update for 7/27/08
July 27, 2008New review for Pockmarked Apocalypse #1 by Jeff Lok, and when I said that I was going to catch up on things here this weekend, I mostly meant getting the inventory for the store in order and ready to go for when it opens up again in a couple of weeks. Just to clear that up…
Update for 7/24/08
July 24, 2008New review today for Salvager Kain #1 by Paul Sloboda, and I’ll try to make up for lost time a bit this weekend. By then I should actually have all these various piles of comics in my room sorted out…
Update for 7/22/08
July 22, 2008New review today for Neverland by Dave Kiersh, right up there at the top of his mammoth page. Plenty of reviews there, but nothing at all for a few years, at least until today.
Update for 7/21/08
July 21, 2008New review today for Slither #3 by Kelly Froh, another book that’s available in the online store, or at least it will be when said store exists again. Also my work schedule has changed dramatically, possibly for the next few months, from 3pm to midnight, so reviews will come earlier in the day. Huzzah for one more new thing to read at work while you’re supposed to be doing other things!
Update for 7/17/08
July 17, 2008New review today for Tragic Relief, the graphic novel by Colleen Frakes, not to be confused by the minis of the same name by the same person. As to why some reviews come up fully on the main page and some just pop up with the “read more” option, I’ll let you know just as soon as I figure out why that is…
Update for 7/16/08
July 16, 2008New review for Vampires Need Love Too! #2 by Brian Cattapan, which would be available in the online store if it was working right now. You can still buy it and everything else in there if you want, it’ll just take e-mailing me and letting me know what you want. Or waiting until the store is fixed in a few weeks…
Update for 7/15/08
July 15, 2008New review for Atlas #3 by Dylan Horrocks. Yeah, I know I should probably only be doing minis, but there’s a good chance some people didn’t even know this was out, and my comic pile is still a bit of a mess from being out of town and/or incapacitated for so long. Back to the actual minis tomorrow…
