{"id":3240,"date":"2010-05-03T14:24:26","date_gmt":"2010-05-03T19:24:26","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-07-22T22:44:25","modified_gmt":"2010-07-23T03:44:25","slug":"latta-josh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/opticalsloth.com\/?p=3240","title":{"rendered":"Latta, Josh &#8211; Rashy Rabbit #6: A Rabbit in King Arthur&#8217;s Food Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lattaland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Website<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/opticalsloth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/rashyrabbit61.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12838\" title=\"rashyrabbit61\" src=\"https:\/\/opticalsloth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/rashyrabbit61-246x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"246\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/opticalsloth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/rashyrabbit61-246x300.jpg 246w, https:\/\/opticalsloth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/06\/rashyrabbit61-841x1024.jpg 841w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 246px) 100vw, 246px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rashy Rabbit #6: A Rabbit in King Arthur&#8217;s Food Court<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If I didn&#8217;t know better I&#8217;d swear that was almost a happy ending on the last page of this book.\u00c2\u00a0 Um, spoiler alert.\u00c2\u00a0 Don&#8217;t worry, while it still has elements related to happiness there&#8217;s still the inevitable reality of Rashy&#8217;s crappy job, and the fact that his whole quest for the better part of this issue is a textbook case of &#8220;be careful what you wish for&#8221;.\u00c2\u00a0 Rashy begins the issue as a menial worker in a renaissance-themed restaurant in the local mall, and one of the first things we see of him is his getting crapped on by a horse getting ready for some jousting.\u00c2\u00a0 Things look like they&#8217;re getting worse from there, but he catches a break: his friend has happened upon a large pile of pot and they devise a plan to sell it and rake in the cash.\u00c2\u00a0 Rashy wants to use his portion to buy a ring for his girlfriend (Honey Bunny, from previous issues; the one who had a kid with Rashy&#8217;s enemy), but things get tricky when the entire staff of the restaurant (except for the hero jouster) gets too stoned to participate, leaving Rashy to step in as a jouster, and the owners of that large pile of pot track Rashy down.\u00c2\u00a0 Chaos ensues, but chaos of the funny kind.\u00c2\u00a0 Great stuff this time around.\u00c2\u00a0 I thought everything came together nicely in the end, but that sort of thing is only possible with an excellent beginning and middle.\u00c2\u00a0 Yep, that&#8217;s my bit of wisdom for the day.\u00c2\u00a0 Check it out, why don&#8217;t you?\u00c2\u00a0 This sort of series would go nicely as a graphic novel and Josh must have almost enough material to make that possible, so now all he needs is money\/interest from you readers.\u00c2\u00a0 Get to it!
