There are a whole lot more Usagi Yojimbo books out there than I thought. Unfortunately, most of the Fantagraphics “complete” run is out of print, but there are various collections through them and Dark Horse that are still around. If you’re not familiar with Usagi, well, this character has been around forever. My first exposure to him was through a Commodore 64 game based on him when I was in 6th grade or so. He’s a rabbit samurai, and was one of the first (and one of the best) “funny animal” series around. This is one of those series that I’ll gladly order if I see it’s available, but I don’t go out of my way to find it. Mostly because there’s such a history with it that I don’t know where to start, but I’ve always been entertained by these books.
